This site collects almost nothing, and this page spells out the “almost” — plus the one relationship you should know about before trusting our links.

What this site collects

There are no accounts to create, no comment forms, and no checkout — we sell nothing, least of all passes. That leaves three kinds of data. First, standard server logs kept by our hosting provider: IP address, browser type, and pages requested, retained for security and uptime purposes the way virtually every website’s host retains them. Second, any email you choose to send us. Third, your email address if you sign up for change alerts, described below.

How correction emails are used

An email to the corrections inbox is used for two things only: replying to you, and verifying and fixing whatever you reported. Your address is not added to any list, and it is never sold, rented, or shared. When a correction is published on the update log, the entry cites the authoritative source that confirmed it — not you. Your name or email appears nowhere unless you explicitly ask to be credited.

The alert list

Five pages on this site carry a signup box for change alerts. If you use it, the form collects your email address and a record of which page you signed up from.

The address is used to send notifications when something covered here changes: pass prices, the list of fee sites, and closures affecting the places written up on this site. It is not sold, not rented, and not used for advertising. Signups are stored in this site’s own WordPress database.

You can unsubscribe at any time.

Ads and trackers

The core pass pages of this site — prices, where to buy, trailheads, rules — carry no advertising and no ad-network tracking code. There are no affiliate links anywhere on the site, from pass vendors or anyone else. Recommendations here cannot be bought, which is most of the reason this site is worth reading.

The SedonaReady relationship

Stated plainly: RedRockPass.com and SedonaReady.com are run by the same small operation — one network, two sites with two jobs. The links between them are editorial cross-references, pointing you to the site better suited to a topic; no money changes hands for placement in either direction. No visitor data is pooled between the two sites beyond what any ordinary web link involves, and each site’s pages stand on their own sources.

Privacy questions go to the same inbox as everything else: sedonaredrockpass@gmail.com. If this policy ever changes materially, the change will be dated here and noted on the update log like any other correction.
